20/20 has acquired exclusive rights to several sets of biomarkers that have demonstrated to have outstanding sensitivity and/or specificity for the early detection and screening of lung cancer.  Our biomarkers come from leading academic research centers as well as small biotech companies seeking commercial and development partnerships.  We have developed a microarray platform that combines these numerous biomarkers in a single antigen microarray that will be used for our proprietary blood test.

These biomarkers include both antigens and autoantibodies generated by the body’s immune system early in tumor formation.  These biomarkers are expressed by the patient from the early stages of cancer growth and can be detected by our blood test well before tumors can be seen on X-ray or CT scans.

Collaborators Wanted:

We are looking to collaborate with other organizations developing biomarkers for cancer therapies.  If you have interest in having your biomarkers included in our blood test, please contact us for further discussions.

20/20 scientists have unique know-how and expertise in an emerging technique that has proven effective in measuring multiple antibodies simultaneously so as to permit excellent discrimination between blood samples from cancer patients and healthy controls.  As illustrated in published references and in this Figure., several hundred phage expressed proteins selected from high-throughput screening are spotted onto glass slides in an array fashion.  The array is then applied to patient plasma so as to permit the measurement of multiple autoantibodies in parallel.    More about Phage-Protein Arrays
