20/20 Successfully Completes Phase I NCI SBIR Contract Company Invited to Submit Phase II Proposal (ROCKVILLE) – 20/20 GeneSystems, Inc. (20/20) successfully completed a Phase I SBIR Contract ($100,000) awarded by the National Cancer Institute with the purpose of developing a clinical diagnostic tool for monitoring patients treated with thalidomide and thalidomide analogues. 20/20 used its proprietary layered membrane platform technology to demonstrate that each drug alone, as well as the combination of different drugs, creates unique proteome changes in lymphocytes. 20/20 hopes to expand this research on samples collected from patients with solid tumors treated with thalidomide/thalidomide analogues.
