20/20 Receives a $96,489 Phase I SBIR Award to Develop a Clinical Diagnostic Tool for Monitoring Patients treated with receptor Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors from the National Cancer Institute. (ROCKVILLE)– 20/20 GeneSystems, Inc. received $96,489 from the National Cancer Institute through their SBIR program to develop a clinical diagnostic tool for using hair follicles to monitor cancer patient response to receptor tyrosine kinase (rTK) inhibitors. This tool would be used to measure systemic response to the drug in order to tailor the dose of drug for each patient.
