20/20 and Celgene Developing a Monitoring Tool for Determining In Vivo Activity of JNK Inhibitors (ROCKVILLE) – 20/20 GeneSystems, Inc. and Celgene completed a Phase I project and demonstrated that the layered membrane platform could be used to measure the levels of phosphorylation of JNK and c-Jun proteins in hair follicles. The goal is to develop a monitoring tool for determining in vivo activity of JNK inhibitors. This tool would use hair as a surrogate tissue to determine the systemic pharmacodynamic effects of JNK inhibitors and tailor the dose of drug for each patient.
