New Data Using 20/20 Membranes Described at Scientific Meeting Dr. Timothy Barbari, Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Maryland, presented his latest findings to his colleagues at the annual meeting of the Membrane Society. Dr. Barbari’s talk, titled ‘Controlling the Orientation of Immobilized Biomolecules on Affinity Membrane Surfaces for the Specific Capture of Target Proteins’ described recent successes in his laboratory in modifying the LGS membranes for capture of specific proteins.
