Current Opportunities

Director of Diagnostic Development

20/20 is seeking a senior scientist with a demonstrated record of conducting and managing R&D projects in the area of biomarker assay development to be a Director of Diagnostic Development. Candidates should have management experience in development of cancer diagnostics in an industrial setting with significant knowledge of immunoassays, microarrays and bioinformatics. The Candidate will be responsible for new biomarker acquisition and testing products from initial feasibility through commercialization. He/she will play an important role in the development of technical strategies, be a critical thought leader for the development of multiple new products, and be responsible for leading the research program including hands-on lab work. This includes all aspects of the Diagnostic Development group, including managing a staff of several Ph.D. scientists, developing experimental models, analysis and interpretation of data, managing budget and costs, and overseeing collaborative partner relationships. Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) with at least 7 years experience in assay development and product commercialization is required. Demonstrated skills in team leadership, direct supervision, and successful leadership of multiple project teams.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytic skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to present at scientific meetings.
