Our headquarters are in the heart of the biotechnology corridor in Rockville, Maryland in close proximity to the National Institutes of Health with which we have extensive collaborations.

Inside Sales Representative- BioDefense/Homeland Security 20/20 is seeking a results-oriented individual to fill an inside sales position. Position will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer base for a unique BioDefense product. Life sciences technical background and/or familiarity with homeland security market a plus. Most customer contact will be over the phone and the individual should have cold calling experience. Senior Scientists Maryland Biotech company seeks Ph.D. scientists with assay development expertise, to achieve the development of an advanced platform for cancer diagnosis. New multiplex, microscopic tissue analysis techniques will be developed to predict the effects of targeted drug therapies. The employee will develop fluorescence-based techniques for detection of proteins and nucleic acids in synthetic bioaffinity media. Applicants must have a clear, current understanding of the principles of design and development of biotechnology assay platforms, such as fluorescent microarrays and immunoassays. Knowledge of chemistries for biomolecule modification and surface coating techniques is essential. A technician will assist with the project. Technician Maryland Biotechnology company seeks B.S. or M.S. scientist with relevant skills and experience to set up and perform experiments with new prototypes of fluorescence-based immunoassays. Essential qualifications include: prior R&D experience with antibodies and proteins, an understanding of the biochemical principles of immunoassays and DNA hybridization, clear verbal communication skills, careful laboratory notebook record keeping, good organizer, team player.
