proprietary Layered Gene Scanning (LGS) is the
first technology for the simultaneous assessment of the activation and
expression levels of multiple pathway proteins including intracellular mediators
(see advantages over IHC).
Along with our NIH collaborators we are using P-FILM technology to profile tissue samples from clinical trials of candidate drugs in an attempt to
correlate the protein profiles with drug response. This information may then be employed to create multiplex diagnostics to stratify patients in the trials and predict response to the drugs.
These molecular diagnostics will be used not only to aid therapy selection but also in monitoring of therapies through their ability to "normalize" the disease proteome. We are analyzing
